Jenni Lyn spent most of her time growing up in the Southern Ohio River Valley. Her mother's family originated from Kentucky and her father's originated out of Cincinnati, Ohio.

As a young girl, she always had a passion for singing. She was entered in the "You can be a Star" contest on TWN Network, where she became a finalist. After performing to the public for the first time, Jenni decided that she would pursue a career in singing. For a while, Jenni sang at every bar, club, and festival that she could.

In 1996 she fronted a band called "Jenni Lyn and the Wild River Band", which took her Criss-Crossing the United States singing in some of the largest venues in the country.

Soon after that, she went under the management of a former MCA Records Vice President and Country Hall of Famer, Walt Haynes. This new management took her to new levels in her country singing career.

Wanting to explore new sides of the country music field she decided to try her hand at Bluegrass. Her first year in the business Jenni signed a National Contract and her first CD was nominated by the IBMA. Three years later, her second CD was also nominated. Her singing career has brought her many positive reviews and awards.

Hitting closer to home, Jenni is particularly proud of her Appalachian Area Award "50 Miles of Heros". Some of the other people who were available for this award because of demographics alongside Jenni were; Ricky Scaggs, The Judds, Billy Ray Cyrus and many more.

 

Jenni says she will sing as long as she can.

Jenni Lyn has always been a traditional Country singer and even an Award Winning Country and Bluegrass Artist. Jenni Lyn has toured the complete U.S. from coast to coast playing the largest venues in America, such as ;

The Buck Board in Atlanta, Ga, The Bank in Norfolk, Va, The Spin Drifters in Orange Park, Fl, Saddlebrook in Tucson, Az and The Station Inn in Nashville, Tn.

Jenni Lyn has shared the stage with names like Mickey Gilly, Sawyer Brown, The Lonesome River Band and Many More including Pop Star Tony Bennet.

Jenni Lyn was Nominated for Female Entertainer of the Year with the IBMA Association in 2001 and 2006. Some of the names on that list were: Vince Gill, Dolly Pardon, Allison Krauss, Diamond Rio, Patty Loveless, Ricki Skaggs and many other well-known Artist. Also in 2001, Jenni Lyn was nominated in Europe for a Grammy Award with Alison Krause and Rhonda Vincent. That same year she won the prestigious Award 50 Miles of Heros from Kentucky, Ohio, Virginia and West Virginia. Some of the people who were up for this award were famous Politicians, Performers, Sports Figures and Famous Actors. This includes;

Dan Quale, The Judds, Ricky Skaggs, Billy Ray Cyrus plus many more from the other categories.

Jenni Lyn now resides in the Great state of Texas and she Loves it. The Jenni Lyn Show is now gearing up to start performing here. Locally Jenni has soloed at;

Buck's Back Yard, Poodie's, Inferno's Pizza, and The Llama Organization. With her band, she has performed at the 290 West Club in Austin. Jenni Lyn has a number of original songs that she has written have gone across the world. Although, she also does many covers of famous female artists that are primarily country.

She has put a band together to perform with her and we believe the folks here will Love Jenni Lyn as they have all across the country.
